Armadillo Studios is a fun loving Calgary-based web design studio, which cut it’s teeth in the high paced Oil & Gas Industry. Since then we’ve transformed into a group of designers, developers and writers.

Connor Turner
President/Designer
As the owner and head designer at Armadillo Studios Inc., Connor has been developing the Armadillo brand for the past three and half years. As a Web Designer and Corporate Blogger, Connor has crafted numerous web sites for a variety of companies.
In addition, Connor is an avid proponent of social media and innovative start-up projects. He was a panelist at SXSW 2010 and has been featured as a beta tester for the Bumptop Application. In addition, his insight on the emerging importance of Twitter has been featured on CBC Calgary and Calgary Metro.

Ryan Boley
Drupal Expert/PHP Developer
As one of the most sought out Drupal developers in Calgary, Ryan is an experienced and in demand developer. He is well versed in Javascript, PHP, iPhone App and Drupal development; Ryan is the go to man for back-end coding at Armadillo Studios.
In recent months, Ryan has expanded his development knowledge at Calgary’s first iPhone Development school and Drupal Camp Alberta. In addition, he has been branching out to the development world via. WordPress/Drupal Plug-ins and iPhone Apps.

Armadillo strongly believes in our hometown and the talent that is being fostered locally. You could say we are big Calgary Cheerleaders in that respect. One of our key philosophies is to leverage the best talent in Southern Alberta to produce the best products for our clients.

Milo The Armadillo
So why Armadillo Studios? 
The name comes from a boyhood obsession with the furry little critters from Texas. The Texas connection to our furry little mascot also ties into Calgary’s strong Oil & Gas relationship with the Texas region and the popular SXSW Interactive Conference where the stimulus for the company was born.
Milo, our name for our favorite little mascot, was designed by Robert Machida a fantastic Illustrator from the Calgary region (Now residing in Vancouver).
