Armadillo Studios is happy to announce that we are expanding our reach from one end of Canada to the other.

Armadillo Studios is now operating out of two location in this fine country. Our home-base of operations will continue to be our beloved Calgary, but we are now also expanding with a satellite office in the Ottawa market.

With the advances in collaboration tools and video conferencing, the challenges associated with working across time zones and distance have been dramatically minimized. It’s because of these advancments and tools that Team Armadillo will still be able to provide our great web design services in two different locations at the same time. We’ve been able to hone this skill over the past few years through our work and collaboration with companies all across North America – working with companies and teams in Toronto, Chicago, Washington, Austin and even Edmonton.

Team Armadillo is incredibly excited to continue our work as an involved member of the Calgary web design community and we’re also excited to bring our hard working prairie attitude to the Ottawa Tech community.

March 2012 may go down as one of Team Armadillo’s most productive months. Not only did we launch our political side project AlbertaTweets to overwhelming fan fare, but we also launched three brand new redesigns. Armadillo Studios is ecstatic to announce the launch of the brand new “WMS Communications Inc. web site”:http://www.wmscommunications.com.

The team at WMS reached out to us a few months ago, looking for help building their online identity. As a boutique communications outfit based in Calgary, they were looking for a web design firm to come in and develop a unique vision for the company. As usual things have been fairly exciting in the *Armadillo Studios camp* for the past few months. In addition to our usual gambit of web design projects, we are also working furiously to launch our first “iPhone App”:http://apps.armadillostudios.ca and on a re-branding of our main corporate web site to celebrate our “5th Anniversary”:http://blog.armadillostudios.ca/article/what-does-armadillo-studios-do. Back in 2007 when Armadillo Studios was just getting our feet wet in the world of the internetz, we crafted a simple WordPress site for our good friend Jamie Rennie. The site was called Jamie’s Dictionary and was a great little pop-culture blog. Nothing too special, but it was a great learning experience for both parties.
